The Short Story Festival continued today.
It is extremely rare indeed for a Short Story Festival to coincide with Dance Party Friday. In fact, scientists and astrologers who have been studying ancient calendars say that this unique convergence has only happened one time since last Tuesday! It was special indeed.
One thing that can be said for the short stories written by 9th and 10th graders is that you really never know what’s going to happen in them. I mean, I’ve read a lot of books and watched a lot of movies. I consider myself something of a story connoisseur. Even so, these festival days have provided countless surprises, and for that, I sincerely thank you, the students.
